This cruise was so nice I did it thrice!

I am a loyal NCL cruiser, so the Getaway was exactly what I expected. Clean, not overcrowded (at least to me), and embarkation was quick and easy.

Two highlights for me: I got to experience the Vibe Beach Club on a ship for the first time, and got to experience some different things for the first time!

This was a weekend cruise, so the party vibe was more intense than usual. Got to meet a lot of other solos on board, some of them I still talk too since then... AND had a hookup on the last night!!!

The Getaway is dated a bit, but nothing that would lower my opinion of her. I actually skipped the ports on this one and stayed on the ship the whole time! (I had the Vibe pretty much all to myself for hours!) Food has always been good. I did the Moderno's Brazilian restaurant for the first time in a few years, and it did not disappoint.

If you travel solo, NCL is the way to go.... not just for the pricing and dedicated solo lounge and solo cabins - including the balcony cabin I was in! They also have a concierge that takes care of the solo travelers - including a daily meetup, dinner and entertainment reservations!

Absolutely! I actually did this back to back to back. I'll be on her again for sure sometime in the future!
