Not horrible, not great.

Before even getting into the terminal, we were met with a very unprofessional, rude and angry Carnival employee. That set the tone.
Bonaire was great, not commercialize. Spa was nice but lacking.
Overall other passangers were friendly, but lacked basic manners at some points.
Ship wasn't the best. Overall, most things worked however there is only two soda dispensers and only one was operational. There was a definite smell across the ship of just stench that would come and go. The overall care of the ship is what you would expect. There was minimal choices for activities that were not related to shopping or spending money.
Food - The Steakhouse was absolutely worth it. Otherwise, the food was sub par at best. The organization for the deli was horrible, no clear line of where to stand to order or where to wait for the food. The pizza shop was usually plagued with not enough staff to keep up with the demand. The buffet was often out of many things and not open as I would have expected. The express dining vs regular dining was nice but confusing. Overall, don't expect good food on this ship.
Ports weren't bad. Bonaire is the only one I would look go to back to.
Overall, I will spend the extra money to go on Celebrity or Royal Caribbean. It will take a lot for me to agree to a Carnival Cruise again.
Pros
Staff on the ship was polite and friendly
Cons
Water had a funky taste, bring bottled water or purchase the drink package. Food was sub par. Entertainment/activities were lacking. A lot of wild, disrespectful teenagers with parents that were not much better. Not much lifestyle, fellow CH cruiser couples were non responsive.
Tips
Spend the extra money for Celebrity, RCCL, Virgin.
